For Prof. Francesco Smeraglia, Forge published six content updates, repaired technical and navigation issues, and verified the site's internal links. The work also reduced the file weight of the image sources reviewed. This is a record of delivery early in the engagement, with search performance kept separate from work completed.
The practice already had a WordPress and Elementor site with information about hand and wrist conditions. The first work package focused on making that material easier to navigate, connecting condition and procedure pages, and publishing a more explicit record of the sources behind the content.
A low-visibility page is not necessarily unindexed. The diagnostic combined public page checks with Search Console inspections and separated observed defects from changes that needed further access or clinical confirmation. Existing URLs were retained for the two revised pages.
On September 11, Forge documented page-level indexing findings, public HTML checks and Search Console performance. The review corrected the earlier assumption that the online consultation page was unindexed. Two live indexing tests succeeded and requests were accepted; this was not treated as proof of subsequent inclusion in Google's index.
The initial September 11 correction batch covered eight pages and posts. It treated eight misleading links on the conditions hub, added three contextual links and removed five duplicate H1 headings while preserving their appearance. The affected slugs stayed unchanged, with before-and-after records retained.
Four new pages and two revisions were published on September 11. The batch included a publications register, condition and procedure hubs, and content about thumb-base arthritis and implant evidence. The two revisions used the original pages; separate review copies were not published as duplicates.
The linking batch changed 41 content documents. Its consolidated public audit covered 46 documents and verified 120 editorial internal links, plus 24 navigation links counted separately. The next/previous and automatic related-post blocks were removed from the article template and checked on 25 articles. A separate utility-page noindex brought the total public documents modified in that batch to 42.
Five research-profile blocks were updated on September 11 using a dated Scopus capture. The published source register was kept distinct from the total indexed by Scopus, so a selected reading list would not be presented as the surgeon's complete publication count.
The September 11 media batch produced 151 WebP conversions and updated image references on ten public pages and the 404 template. Existing WebP and SVG assets were retained, as were the source files. The 47 compared image sources decreased from 12.17 MB to 5.40 MB. Desktop and mobile display checks were documented separately from that file-size calculation.
On September 12, Forge preserved a separate DataForSEO snapshot with the domain, market, search parameters and Maps identity checks documented. The review also corrected an earlier Semrush first-place claim: that row described an image-pack result. Different providers and result types were kept separate instead of being turned into an artificial growth percentage.
These pages were published or revised in the September 11 batch. Their public URLs were checked again on September 13, 2026 and returned HTTP 200. The titles below describe the page subjects in English; the client site is in Italian.

Published content, corrected headings and links, updated image references and a measured reduction in the compared file sizes. The release audit also verified titles, descriptions, canonical URLs and the intended sitemap entries.
Search Console recorded 2,033 clicks and 149,169 impressions from August 10 to September 8, 2026, for Web search across all countries and devices. That window precedes the September 11 release and is a reference point, not an outcome of those changes.
The record does not yet establish additional consultations, procedures or revenue attributable to this work. DataForSEO traffic estimates are provider models, and a successful indexing request does not confirm indexing. The first-month engagement remains open; clinical confirmations, some access-dependent work and a later comparable performance review are still required.
Publication of the six client pages was authorized, but the project record does not attest to Francesco's final clinical approval of those texts. This delivery case does not certify their medical content or claim a clinical outcome.
