Private visibility audit

Dental Kids

Hi there, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, an orthodontist, from 25 spots around Chiswick in London. At your own address you come up lower down the first screen. From a kilometre out, you sit far down the list almost everywhere, and at one spot to the north-east you did not appear at all. Each dot is one of those spots; Green means you are in the top three there.

So a parent searching from a street a short drive away may never come across you. Which raises the question of what is possible here for a practice nearby.

The comparison worth looking at

One nearby practice appears higher overall

West London Orthodontist comes before you at every one of the tested spots, both right at your own door on Chiswick High Rd. and out across the wider ring we checked.

Same search, an orthodontist, from the same twenty-five spots around you, so the two maps read side by side.

It sits among the first three at 15 of those 25 spots, where you sit in the first three at none, so the top of this map is clearly reachable from your streets. The next question is who is reaching your website today.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

Most of your estimated visits come from your own name

At least two thirds of the estimated visits from Google come from people typing your name, like 'dentalkids'. The rest arrive on searches that never mention you.

  • Someone typing your name is already looking for you by name. A parent searching for a children's dentist is not, and that is a different kind of search.
  • The good news: your site does reach the first page for one of those searches, so some parents can find you without knowing the name at all.

So which searches bring parents to you without your name, and where do they land?

The searches behind the numbers

The searches without your name are about children's dentistry

The searches that do not mention you are about children's dental care. A couple more are simply questions about teeth, which land on one of your information pages.

  • A search for 'kids dental' puts you among the first results, and leads to your home page.
  • 'Kiddies dental' puts you low on the first page, below the results most people click, and leads to your home page too.

So the searches without your name reach you as a children's dentist. A parent looking for an orthodontist around Chiswick in London does not arrive this way yet, and that is the gap worth closing. What would we do about it?

Picture patients searching for your treatments around Chiswick being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.

Work we have already done

Not a promise. The work itself.

Four practices, four kinds of work. Delivered, not promised.

A dental practice near Paris

Every page about implants rebuilt, down to the questions patients ask before deciding. Kept up month after month.

An oral surgeon in Paris

The page patients land on before they book, her Google advertising, and a weekly letter to the colleagues who refer to her.

A hand surgeon in Italy

Every question his patients ask, mapped, then written and linked from his own publications.

A plastic surgeon in Italy

His whole site reviewed page by page, and the three-month plan, city by city.

What stays yours

One practitioner per city, in writing.

For a given specialty. So we do not work with the practice on the second map above, and would not while working with you.

A doctor who ran clinics, doing this part for you

I'm a doctor. I used to run a group of clinics, and I know this part of the job is not why anyone chooses medicine. Today my team does it for practices like yours: the research, the writing and the set-up. You come in only where clinical knowledge matters.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
