Private visibility audit

The Dental Centre London

Hi there, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, a dentist, from 25 spots around Euston Rd. in London. At your own door you come first. One step away that changes: across the spots close to you, you sit lower down the first screen or further, and farther out you often slip off the list altogether, mostly to the south and south-west. Each dot is one of those spots; Green means the practice is in the top three there.

So someone a street or two away, phone in hand, looking for a dentist, may simply never come across you. Would another practice nearby fare better here?

The comparison worth looking at

One nearby practice appears higher at almost every spot

We ran the same search for Dental Smiles London, and it came before you at 24 of the 25 tested spots around Euston Rd. in London, though it reaches the first three at only two of them.

Same search, a dentist, from the same twenty-five spots around you, so the two maps can be read side by side.

So neither of you is seen across the area: you are among the first three at one spot, they are at two. The first three are open around here. The question then is who actually reaches your website.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

None of the searches we found uses your name

We looked at the Google searches that bring people to your website. Not one of them includes your practice name. They are searches like 'fillings london', made by people with a question. These are estimates.

  • Someone typing 'fillings london' has not heard of you yet. Your site comes up among the first results for them, and that is where a new patient can first meet you.
  • The searches we found are only part of the picture, so this is not proof nobody looks you up by name. What they do show is people arriving with a question, not a name.

So which of these questions actually bring people to you, and where do they land when they arrive?

The searches behind the numbers

New people reach you through symptom and treatment pages

These searches carry no name. Some are worries about teeth, like discolouration or grinding. Others name a treatment: fillings, whitening, or simply a dentist in London.

  • Someone searching 'black teeth' shows up among the first results and is led to your page on black teeth, its causes and its treatment.
  • Someone searching 'fillings london' also shows up among the first results, and is led to your fillings page.

So these searches come from people who have never heard of you, and they reach you through dentistry itself. Fillings and the tooth worries behind these pages are the ground worth building on. The question is what happens once they land there.

Picture patients searching for your treatments around St Pancras being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.

Work we have already done

Not a promise. The work itself.

A doctor who ran clinics, doing this part for you

I'm a doctor. I used to run a group of clinics, and I know this part of the job is not why anyone chooses medicine. Today my team does it for practices like yours: the research, the writing and the set-up. You come in only where clinical knowledge matters.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
