Private visibility audit

Dentael Dentist

Hi there, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, a dentist, from 25 spots around Perivale in Greenford. Right by your door you come first, and you stay easy to find across the spots closest to you. Further out you sit outside the first three, mostly well down the list. Each dot is one of those spots; Green means you are in the top three there.

So someone a few streets further out, phone in hand looking for a dentist, may never come across you. Close to home, that strength is worth holding on to. What does a nearby practice get?

The comparison worth looking at

Your map holds up next to a nearby practice

Out of the 25 spots we tested, your listing comes before Pitshanger Dental at 13 of them and it comes before you at the other 12, with its stronger showing sitting at the outer spots to the south-east.

We ran the same search, a dentist, from the same twenty-five spots around you, so the two maps read side by side.

Neither of you is in the first three at more than a few of those spots, so those first places are open around here. Which brings us to who actually reaches your website.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

Most people find your website without knowing your name

None of the searches we looked at uses your practice name. About two thirds of the estimated visits from Google come from searches like 'front tooth replacement'. These are estimates, not counted visits.

  • That is a real strength. Someone worried about a missing front tooth, who has never heard of you, can reach your pages before they know who you are.
  • Your site does come up on the first page for several of those searches, and comes up first for one of them, so people can find you while they are still deciding.

So which of those searches are actually doing the work, and where do they land people on your site?

The searches behind the numbers

New people find you through missing teeth

The searches reaching you without your name are almost all about replacing a missing tooth, especially a front one. One is simply someone looking for a dentist in Greenford.

  • Someone searching 'front tooth replacement' comes up among the first results, and that search leads to your page about replacing a missing tooth.
  • 'Greenford dentist' shows low on the first page, below the results most people click, and leads to your home page.

So the searches from people who do not know you yet point to one thing: a missing front tooth. That is dentistry you already do, and it is worth building on. The next question is what to do first.

Picture patients searching for your treatments around Perivale being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
