Private visibility audit

InnovaDent Dental Clinic

Hi there, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, a dental clinic, from 25 spots around Canary Wharf Estate in London. You come first at your own door, and you show up somewhere in the list at all 25 spots. But at the eight spots closest to you, and at every spot further out, you sit below the first three. Each dot is one of those spots; Green means you are in the top three there.

So someone a few streets away, phone in hand, looking for a dentist, sees the first three names, and yours is not among them. Is that normal around here?

The comparison worth looking at

One nearby practice comes before you at more spots

We ran the same search for Mouth South Quay, Canary Wharf. It came before you at 15 of the 25 tested spots, and at three of the eight spots closest to you.

This is the same search for a dental clinic, from the same twenty-five spots around you, so both maps can be read side by side.

Yet it reaches the first three at as few spots as you do, so neither name is seen widely here. Those three places are open. The next question is who already reaches your website.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

Most people who find your website already know you

At least a little over half of the estimated visits from Google come from people typing your name, like 'innovadent dental clinic'. These are estimates, but the pattern is clear.

  • Someone typing your name has already heard of you. They are checking you, not choosing you. Some of those searches lead to your testimonials page.
  • The good news: you also show among the first results for searches with no name in them, like someone looking for Invisalign in Canary Wharf.

So which searches with no name in them bring people in, and where do they land?

The searches behind the numbers

New people reach you through specific treatments

Some searches that reach your site never mention your name. They are people asking about gum disease, a tooth that needs taking out, straightening or whitening, and dentists in the area.

  • 'how can i cure periodontal disease' shows up among the first results, and that search leads to your periodontics page.
  • 'dentist canary wharf' shows up low on the first page, below the results most people click, and takes that person to your home page.

Treatment questions are doing the work here. A search for a dentist near Canary Wharf puts you low on the first page, below the results most people click, while a gum question puts you among the first. That is the gap worth looking at.

Picture patients searching for your treatments around Canary Wharf Estate being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.

Work we have already done

Not a promise. The work itself.

Four practices, four kinds of work. Delivered, not promised.

A dental practice near Paris

Every page about implants rebuilt, down to the questions patients ask before deciding. Kept up month after month.

The page patients land on before they book, her Google advertising, and a weekly letter to the colleagues who refer to her.

A doctor who ran clinics, doing this part for you

I'm a doctor. I used to run a group of clinics, and I know this part of the job is not why anyone chooses medicine. Today my team does it for practices like yours: the research, the writing and the set-up. You come in only where clinical knowledge matters.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
