Private visibility audit

Colindale Dental

Hi there, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, a dentist, from 25 spots around Colindale Ave in London. At your own door and at several spots close by, you come up among the first three. Across most of the 25, though, you sit below that, and the gap widens at the outer spots towards Stanmore, Preston and Brent Cross. Each dot is one of those spots; Green means you are in the top three there.

So someone searching from those outer spots has to go further down the list to find you, while the ground close to home is worth holding on to. What does good look like nearby?

The comparison worth looking at

Your map holds up next to a nearby practice

We ran the same search for Care Dental Smile. It comes before you at a few of the tested spots, and you come before it at most of them.

It is the same search, a dentist, from the same spots around you, so the two maps sit side by side.

You are among the first three at clearly more of those spots than it is, so from more of them you are the name a patient sees. That makes your local map an asset, and the next question is your website.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

Most searches that lead to your website already carry your name

At least four fifths of the estimated visits your site gets from Google come from searches that include your name, like 'colindale dentists'. These are estimates, but the pattern is clear.

  • Someone typing your name already has it in mind. That search is not a choice between dentists, it is a look-up.
  • Your site does reach the first page for searches without your name, including 'invisalign north london', though it sits below the results most people tap.

So what about the searches that do not carry your name? Those are worth a closer look.

The searches behind the numbers

Two searches reach you without your name

Four searches reach you without your name. Two are people looking up one of your dentists. The other two are treatment searches: Invisalign in north London, and a dentist near London.

  • 'invisalign north london' sits low on the first page, below the results most people click, and leads to your Invisalign page.
  • 'dentist near london' also sits low on the first page, below the results most people click, and leads to your home page.

So general dentistry brings in a trickle, while Invisalign is the one treatment of yours found by the name of the treatment alone. That page is worth building on. Which brings us to where we would start.

Picture patients searching for your treatments around Colindale being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.

Work we have already done

Not a promise. The work itself.

Four practices, four kinds of work. Delivered, not promised.

A dental practice near Paris

Every page about implants rebuilt, down to the questions patients ask before deciding. Kept up month after month.

A doctor who ran clinics, doing this part for you

I'm a doctor. I used to run a group of clinics, and I know this part of the job is not why anyone chooses medicine. Today my team does it for practices like yours: the research, the writing and the set-up. You come in only where clinical knowledge matters.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
