Private visibility audit

Complete Smiles

Hi there, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, a dentist, from 25 spots around College Rd in Harrow. Right by your door and at a few spots close by, you come up among the first three. Across most of the tested spots, though, you sit below that first handful. Each dot is one of those spots, and Green means your practice is in the top three there.

So someone a little further out, in Pinner, Rayners Lane or Sudbury, may scroll past without ever seeing you. What would that same search show for a practice near you?

The comparison worth looking at

Your map holds up next to a nearby practice

Across the 25 spots we tested around you, you come before Complete Smiles Family Dental & Implant Centre at 17 of them, and it comes before you at the other 8.

We ran the same search, a dentist, from the same twenty-five spots around you, so the two maps sit side by side.

Each of you reaches the first three at four of the spots, so the top three are open around here. Your local map is an asset, which moves the question to your website.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

Most people who find your website have never heard of you

Only a small part of the estimated visits from Google comes from people typing your name. Far more arrive through everyday questions like 'tooth cavity', looking for an answer rather than for you.

  • A search with your name comes from someone who already knows it. The other searches are everyday worries about teeth, from people who may never have heard of you.
  • Your writing on tooth decay comes up among the first results for one of those questions, so the search puts your explanation in front of them rather than someone else's.

So which of those questions bring people to you, and where do they end up once they arrive?

The searches behind the numbers

New people reach you through tooth decay questions

The searches that do not carry your name are worries, not treatments. Most are about tooth decay and cavities. One is about telling a mouth ulcer from something more serious.

  • 'caries in the teeth' shows up among the first results, and leads to your page on what causes tooth decay and how to stay cavity free.
  • 'difference between mouth ulcer and cancer' shows up among the first results, leading to your explainer on telling a mouth ulcer from oral cancer.

These are dental worries, squarely your field, and they point to your own pages. Worth building on, since decay is the way in. What would you want them to book next?

Picture patients searching for your treatments in Harrow being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.

Work we have already done

Not a promise. The work itself.

Four practices, four kinds of work. Delivered, not promised.

A dental practice near Paris

Every page about implants rebuilt, down to the questions patients ask before deciding. Kept up month after month.

An oral surgeon in Paris

The page patients land on before they book, her Google advertising, and a weekly letter to the colleagues who refer to her.

Every question his patients ask, mapped, then written and linked from his own publications.

A plastic surgeon in Italy

His whole site reviewed page by page, and the three-month plan, city by city.

What stays yours

One practitioner per city, in writing.

For a given specialty. So we do not work with the practice on the second map above, and would not while working with you.

A doctor who ran clinics, doing this part for you

I'm a doctor. I used to run a group of clinics, and I know this part of the job is not why anyone chooses medicine. Today my team does it for practices like yours: the research, the writing and the set-up. You come in only where clinical knowledge matters.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
