We ran the same search, a dentist, from 25 spots around Green Ln in Northwood. You show up in the results at all of them, and right at your own door you come first. Step out to the edges, though, and you sit outside the first three at most of the 25 spots, mainly to the south and east. Each dot is one of those spots; Green means you are in the top three there.
Close to you, people searching for a dentist can find you easily. Further out, in that south-east pocket, someone may never come across you. Is that normal here?

We ran the same search for Mount Vernon Dental Specialists. It comes before you at some of the tested spots, and you come before it at more of them, including at your own door.
Same search, a dentist, from the same spots around Green Ln in Northwood, so the two maps sit side by side.
Each of you reaches the first three at about a third of the spots, so the first three are still open around here. Your map is the stronger half of the picture, so the website is where we looked next.

Almost all the estimated visits from Google come from people typing your own name, like 'l&y dental'. Searches that do not contain your name account for only a small part of them.
So what do those people actually type when they need a dentist, and where do they land?

Seven searches in the audit data show your site without your name. Two concern white spots on teeth, one orthodontics nearby, and the rest are general private dentist searches or other practices' names.
So the one search that brings an estimated visit from someone new lands on orthodontics, a treatment you do offer, and that page is worth building on. Which leaves the question of what to fix first, and how we would help.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.
None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.
Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.
WhatsApp or a voice note. Tell me which part of this page matters most to you. I reply myself.
We agree the priorities and what Forge will deliver, in writing. It is the only real time this asks of you.
Your Google listing and the pages a new patient lands on. Fixed before anything is built on top.
Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.
Four practices, four kinds of work. Delivered, not promised.
See the projectsEvery page about implants rebuilt, down to the questions patients ask before deciding. Kept up month after month.
The page patients land on before they book, her Google advertising, and a weekly letter to the colleagues who refer to her.
Every question his patients ask, mapped, then written and linked from his own publications.
His whole site reviewed page by page, and the three-month plan, city by city.
For a given specialty. So we do not work with the practice on the second map above, and would not while working with you.
Then very little: the odd decision, and your clinical eye where it matters.
If you stop, you keep all of it. No minimum term.
Agreed in writing. Nobody honest can promise you a position on Google, and we will not.
I'm a doctor. I used to run a group of clinics, and I know this part of the job is not why anyone chooses medicine. Today my team does it for practices like yours: the research, the writing and the set-up. You come in only where clinical knowledge matters.
