Private visibility audit

Sergejs Andrijevskis

Dr Andrijevskis, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, a dental implants periodontist, from 25 spots around Balham Hill in London. At every one of those spots you come up among the first three, and at most of them you come first. That holds close to you and further out alike. Each dot is one of those spots; Green means the practice is in the top three there.

So wherever someone nearby reaches for their phone, they can find you. That is a position worth protecting. The question is what a patient sees when a practice near you is searched the same way.

The comparison worth looking at

Your map holds up next to a nearby practice

We ran the same search for London Dental Implant. It comes before you at three of the tested spots, out towards Battersea and Clapham Junction, while you come before it at the other twenty-two.

Same search, same spots around you, so the two maps can be read side by side.

You are in the first three at every tested spot; they are at eight. You come first at twenty-two of the twenty-five, so the local map is an asset. The question becomes what your website does with it.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

People reach your website without searching your name

None of the searches we found uses your practice name. People reach you by asking about the treatment itself, like 'dental implants balham'. These are estimated visits, but the pattern is clear.

  • The searches bringing people in are about implants near you, not about you by name. Your site appears on the first page of results for that search.
  • Your pages about cost and NHS questions pick up people still weighing things up. They arrive with a question, not a name, and that is where a first visit starts.

So which of those questions bring people to you, and where do they land once they arrive?

The searches behind the numbers

New patients find you through implant cost questions

Every search we found reaches you without your name. They fall into two groups: people asking what implants cost and whether the NHS covers them, and people looking for implants in Balham or London.

  • 'dental implants balham' puts you among the first results and takes that person straight to your home page, which is the right landing place for someone nearby searching the treatment.
  • 'how to get free dental implants uk' also shows among the first results and leads to your page on NHS cover and finance options, which brings about 179 visits a month (estimate).

So the searches arriving are about implants, your own work, and the cost questions do the most. Build there. Next comes what we would fix first, and how we would take it on.

Picture patients searching for your treatments around Balham being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Systems that keep running

Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.

Work we have already done

Not a promise. The work itself.

Four practices, four kinds of work. Delivered, not promised.

A dental practice near Paris

Every page about implants rebuilt, down to the questions patients ask before deciding. Kept up month after month.

An oral surgeon in Paris

The page patients land on before they book, her Google advertising, and a weekly letter to the colleagues who refer to her.

A hand surgeon in Italy

Every question his patients ask, mapped, then written and linked from his own publications.

A plastic surgeon in Italy

His whole site reviewed page by page, and the three-month plan, city by city.

What stays yours

One practitioner per city, in writing.

For a given specialty. So we do not work with the practice on the second map above, and would not while working with you.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
