Private visibility audit

Sarp Korcan Keskin

Dr Keskin, let’s look at your local visibility.

We ran the same search, a urologist, from 25 spots around Headington in Oxford. You came up among the first three at every one of those spots, and first at nearly all of them. That is close to the best this map can show. Each dot is one of those spots, and Green means the practice is in the top three there.

So wherever someone nearby reaches for their phone and looks for a urologist, you are right there in front of them. That is a position worth protecting.

The comparison worth looking at

Your map holds up next to a nearby practice

We ran the same search for Oxford Urology Associates from the same spots. Across the tested spots, your practice appears higher overall, and at only one of the twenty-five spots does another name come before you.

Same search, a urologist, from the same twenty-five spots around you, so the two maps read side by side.

So the map around you is already an asset: someone nearby reaching for their phone can find you. The question moves on to your website, and who actually arrives there.

Each dot is a tested search location. Green means a top-three position for that search. The comparison concerns search visibility, not the quality of care.

Beyond the map

The searches reaching your website never use your name

None of the searches we looked at uses your name. Every one is a question or a service, like 'private kidney surgery practice'. These are estimates, and they point to people who have not met you yet.

  • Someone searching for a private kidney surgery practice is not typing your name. Your site already shows up on the first page for that one.
  • A search with your name comes from someone who has heard of you. None of these use it, which points to people who don't know you yet, and that is worth building on.

So which searches are those, and where do they lead?

The searches behind the numbers

Most of the searches reaching you are about kidney stones

Every search we found reaching your website comes from someone who does not type your name. Four of the five are about kidneys, stone prevention above all, and one is simply urology in Oxford.

  • 'private kidney surgery practice' sits low on the first page, below the results most people click, and lands on a tracking version of your home page.
  • 'how can i avoid kidney stones' shows beyond the first page, leading to your article on preventing kidney stones, the page three of these searches point to.

So the searches reaching you cold are about stones, and that is squarely your field. Your kidney stone writing is the part worth building on. Which leaves the question of what to do first.

Picture patients searching for your treatments around Headington being able to find you.

Here is what already works for you, and what we would fix first.

None of this is about your care. It is about who sees your name first.

You stay with your patients. We carry this part.

Patients choose before they call: from the first names on the map, from the first results on Google. My team rebuilds what decides that, your Google listing and the pages a patient lands on, and keeps it up every month. Here is what happens if you reply.

Kept up month after month. You watch it in a shared table, with a regular call, and your own people kept in the loop.

Work we have already done

Not a promise. The work itself.

A doctor who ran clinics, doing this part for you

I'm a doctor. I used to run a group of clinics, and I know this part of the job is not why anyone chooses medicine. Today my team does it for practices like yours: the research, the writing and the set-up. You come in only where clinical knowledge matters.

Got a question?

A few things you may be wondering

The questions practitioners actually ask me after a page like this.

What would you do first for my practice?

We already have a website, an agency or someone who watches this. Do we start again?

Will this bring the right patients, or just more enquiries?

I searched myself and saw something different. Why?

What does it cost, and how long before something changes?

Do you work with the practice you compared me with?
